Can I take your picture? Let me zoom out a little. I want to get your plate too. Actually, if you could maybe move back so I can get the plate centered? A little more... Little more... Would you mind switching places with me?

My angelic food blogging friend Passionate Eater posted this thought-provoking article on restauranteurs' reactions to photo happy food bloggers. A very interesting read.

As a side note, I follow each of the rules listed at the end of the article. They just make good sense.

    It is a nice article, isn't it? When people ask me about photos, I tell them I'm very discreet......

    Yep. I haven't had anyone ask me yet, but I rarely frequent the type of hoity toity establishment that would be worried about culinary espionage. I'm more of a cheap eats guy.
