Gookie - [Crazies]

Short post since it was a long day and I'm very very tired. I'll make it up to you all tomorrow night, I promise. Until then, check out this snack that my receptionist, Crazy Girl (formerly Crazy Pregnant Girl), was munching on at work.



No, it's not a joke. Yes, it's a real snack. Can anyone guess why her husband asked her to hide it from me whenever I wandered by her desk? =D



An ass whuppin' would be in the works, except this snack was made by Want Want Foods Ltd., a Taiwanese company based in mainland China partnered with a Japanese company. That's right. It was my people that done made this unfortunately named snack. Isn't engrish grand?

As Cat said, it's "tri-national linguistic incompetence." She has such a way with words.



At least they're not too bad for you. A box will only run you about 168 calories.



Mmmmm... Tastes like chocolaty insensitivity... Someone get John McCain a box.

    Hi Chubbypanda: Can I comment? from an amateur? I like the first one -- it is pretty sharp. The best accessory you can buy is to get yourself a nice sturdy tripod. I think you will like the results for such shots. The 2nd and 3rd should be shot a bit closer so people can read the labels (that's your intention right?). For the last one, try different angles and composition (was that Cat's fingernails? Nice! :-)). BTW, if you max the size of the pix to fill right up to the margins, I think they will look much better on the blog. My two cents ...

    Maybe I can try look out for this gookie in a Jap/Korean supermarket then show my chipmuck ability to store it safely...*lol*

    168 calories in a box or a serving? Seems low for a formerly pregnant woman to be eating.

    Those racist Asians! Well, at least you never drank "CALPIS" like how I used to. Hmm, I wonder why they wanted to name a drink "piss." Thankfully, they renamed that stuff "Calpico."
