Thank you so much for reviewing this event! I just went to the 2007 event, based on hearing about it from your review, and had a great time, eating lots of great food. I had told 2 people about it before I went, and will now tell many more after the fact. Can't wait for next year, thank you for your blog and pics.

I completely understand. Those shadows bug the heck out of me too. But, believe it or not, we were sharing a big round table with two other groups of people. Seating was a definite issue at the festival, which I should have mentioned. In any case, there wasn't a good way for me to get out of the shadow, although I tried.

All I can say is: GOOD JOB! You seems to have covered every course, ethnic dish and then some! It's been far too long since I've had a tea egg and the taiwanese sausages. A bowl of rice to go with them both and I think I'm set. But wait! The milk tart look particularly delicious...mmm sweet tooth craving coming on right about now :)

Oh My, talk about stamina! Wonderful, a grand slam of a post. These festivals are usually really hit and miss, but you seemed to sniff out more good one's then the norm. So now that the Irvine Global Village Festival has been "Pandazized"(I even found a word for it), what's next??? ;o)
